Michael has entered pre-production for a short film he is directing named ‘Seed’. Written and produced by Samuel Ferguson, with cinematography by David Liddell and starring multi award winning actors David Hayman (Trial and Retribution, The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas) and Kate Dickie (Red Road, Filth).

Michael’s short film ‘The Day I Met Miss Rodgers’, written by Anna Ferns and starring Mark Harvey and Amiera Darwish, has just been picked up for a DVD release by UK based distributor, A1 Pictures.

Michael won ‘Best Director’ at the BAFTA New Talent Awards 2010, held in Glasgow on Friday 19th March, 2010.
Michael has just been nominated for ‘Best Director’ at the BAFTA New Talent Awards 2010.
‘The Secret Commonwealth’ (historical fantasy feature) in development with Workshop Productions.
Michael will direct – the script is being written by David Guest and will be produced by Guest and Christopher Abbott and shot by renowned cinematographer, Phil Wood.
Michael’s debut feature film ‘Kirk’ has just won ‘Best Independent Feature’ at the International Festival of Fantastic Films 2009. Michael collected the award along with the cast at an awards ceremony in Manchester, England.
